Internal temperature regulation relies on the Ideal Standard PreciTherm cartridge, tested through 750,000 operation cycles to guarantee long term performance. An internal fine mesh filter prevents dirt particles and scale from entering mechanical valves, allowing fast thermal adjustments that prevent running extra water down the drain.

Wall controls feature two stacked cylindrical knobs set against the round faceplate. The top dial controls water volume to the single outlet, while the bottom handle sets water temperature. To protect users against thermal spikes, an integrated 40°C safety button limits movement past safe threshold levels. Should cold or hot water feeds cut out entirely, an instant automatic shut off cuts flow to protect the user.

Constructed using solid brass, the exterior faceplate is finished exclusively in chrome and treated with SmartShine technology. This surface treatment guards against everyday scratching while allowing water marks to wipe off easily.
