Shower Heads and Arms

For hard water areas we would recommend cleaning your shower head every 1-2 months and every 3-4 moths in soft water areas. While there are a variety of methods to clean your shower head, a recommendation would be using white vinegar.

If your shower head is removeable, unscrew the shower head and place it in a bowl of white vinegar and leave to soak for 1-2 hours if it has light build up, or overnight for heavy limescale. Then simply give your shower head nozzles a scrub with a toothbrush, rinse thoroughly and reattach.

Alternatively if it is fixed to the wall, you can use the same method but instead of a bowl, fill a plastic bag with white vinegar and securely attach the bag around the shower head using an elastic band. Make sure the shower head is fully submerged and follow the same steps.
