Bronze Bathroom Accessories

Bronze bathroom fixtures pair well with a variety of colour schemes, however we know that making the decision on which one would work best for you can be difficult. This is a short list to give you inspiration:

• Warm Neutrals help to create a calm and cohesive feeling. Examples such as warm taupe and greige can bounce off bronzes earthy warm tones.
• Warm Terracotta is a great choice for bold and cozy bathrooms. Paired with bronze it can give your bathroom a Mediterranean inspired feel.
• Navy Blue is a classic choice which is dramatic and luxurious. Consider navy blue for a feature wall to create focus.

Another important factor to consider is lighting, warm light bulbs can make bronze feel rich and really make the warm tones of bronze stand out.

Bronze fixtures may develop a subtle patina over time. This process happens because it is an alloy of copper and tin which over time reacts with the air and moisture in your bathroom. However this isn't necessarily a negative as it can enhance the character and does not effect its performance. The shine of bronze can always be protected with gentle regular cleaning and polishing.

Just like all of our bathroom accessories, we highly recommend regular cleaning with a soft microfibre cloth, warm water and a small amount of gentle dish soap. However if you prefer to do a deep clean of your bathroom from time to time we would advise you to avoid the following things: abrasive sponges or scouring pads, harsh chemicals such as bleach, ammonia, vinegar or limescale remover or any metal polishes and waxes as these can strip that beautiful bronze finish that you love.
