Overflow Fillers
Overflow Bath Fillers have in recent times become the most sensible and often cost effective method of bath filling.
They come with a multitude of advatanges when looking for an alternative to a standard Bath Tap.
So firstly what actually is a bath overflow filler ? Basically its a product which replaces a standard bath waste, instead of having a standard overflow hole, this part has a water inlet which would take water from a shower valve, the water then flows out of the overflow hole and into the bath to fill it. The best way to demonstrate this is to look at some of the images of the products below which have some great images.
So what are the advantages ? Firstly there is no need for another bulky brass tap on the bath itself, great for a clean modern aesthetic. Secondly it's cost effective as it's often cheaper to have an overflow filler instead of a standard bath waste and tap and lastly if you are controlling the bath from a thermostatic shower valve then you can create the exact required temperature.
It's worth bearing in mind that you will need a shower valve to control the water to it, if you are controlling a shower head as well then you will need a 2 or 3 outlet shower valve.
