The Platto range from Imex is available in both standard Imex Cast or Premiercast reinforced versions. With softly sculptured high sides, the Platto bath suits both modern and classic bathroom settings. Available in single and double ended.

Minimal profiled edging to the Platto single ended bath allows a spacious bathing experience, optimising capacity and affording comfort and practicality. Both Platto single and double ended baths are ideal to replace and retrofit against old 5’6” imperial sized baths.

 All Imex Premiercast baths are constructed by hand, we first form the bath from high quality 5mm acrylic, then add a full timber supporting frame to both the base of the bath and the underside of the rim. This creates a strong base to then apply by hand, 7 layers of fiberglass core matting. Between each layer we apply a resin bonding adhesive which, when dry creates a super strong encapsulated bonded core. Finally the bath is coated with a mix of resin and blue paint, which provides a smooth and superstrength final bonded surface.
